New and Improved Eva-dry E-333 Renewable Mini Dehumidifier

  • Spill and mess free and is non-toxic, child and pet safe
  • The unit lasts 20-30 days before renewing
  • Works in areas up to 333 cubic feet, requires no batteries or cords for use
  • Works up to ten years
  • 100% renewable
This mini dehumidifier has been design to adsorb moisture from small enclosed areas (maximum area: 10'x 10'). It will help protect clothes and valuables from the damaging effects of mold/mildew and moisture rot. It is 100% renewable and needs no power to operate. Just hang the eva-dry unit in a closet, or you can place it in other small enclosed spaces, and it will start to adsorb moisture. There are no batteries required or cords to plug in, the unit works without power. There is an indicator window with special "moisture meter crystals" that change from orange (when dry) to green (when wet) to indicate when the unit needs to be "renewed". The unit will adsorb approximately 8 to 10 ounces of moisture (depending on humidity levels this should take between 3 - 8 weeks). Once the moisture has been adsorbed it cannot leak or spill. This unit uses a specialized engineered crystallized silica gel that is odorless, non-toxic and completely safe. When the indicator crystals turn Green it is time to "re-new" the unit. Simply remove the unit from where it is adsorbing moisture and plug it into a power outlet.

Don't Get Hung Out To Dry With Look-A-Like Products...Trust The Original!

Often Imitated...never duplicated!
Eva-Dry renewable dehumidifiers are manufactured at the highest standard and come equipped with an industry leading 5 year warranty.
Humidity is everywhere, in your closets, under your kitchen sink, in your safes, boats, RVs, bathrooms, and more. When you have too much humidity, the effects can be more than a nightmare. The E-333 packs a safe and silent punch to get rid of excessive humidity for up to ten years.
How It Works:
The E-333 uses a renewable silica gel technology that works without batteries or power. This renewable solution can be placed in any area up to 333 cubic feet and will silently absorb moisture. As the unit absorbs the humidity there is an indicator window that contains crystals that will change from Orange to Green. Note:There are no lights on the unit so please check the actual color of the beads. Once it has reached its capacity (4-6 oz). This should take between two to four weeks, but will vary depending on specific conditions. Once the crystals have changed to Green, it is ready to be plugged in for 8 to 10 hours in a well-ventilated area. After 8 to 10 hours the crystals will have changed back to Orange and it is ready to be used again. The process can be repeated for up to 10 years!
No messy spills to clean or refills to buy...ever!
Even at full capacity, the E-333 will never leak or spill a single drop of liquid. It captures moisture vapor from the air and keeps it contained within the beads until the unit is ready to renew. Since the E-333 is renewable, it will not require any expensive refills. The E-333 has a lifespan of 10 years and is covered by a 5 year warranty.

A couple years ago we bought a waterproof/fireproof safe by Sentry. In order to make it waterproof they use some sort of water based insulation, I'm not sure if this is unique to Sentry or an industry practice. What happens in our safe is that everything is soggy and even my passport became warped and had some mold on the outside. I kept throwing in those silica packets that came with clothing and other items we purchased and they did not effect the moisture level inside the safe. I came across this and really didn't think I had anything to lose by trying it, the price was definitely right.

When I received it, the crystals were already blue. I charged it right away and put it in the safe the next day. It's been a little more than 1 month and I have not yet seen the crystals turn pink. Everything inside the safe is nice and dry, all the paperwork feels a lot more crisp. I won't call the people who can't discern the color an blind like another reviewer. I can imagine some units may not work or people may have trouble seeing inside just like any product you buy nowadays. For me, the blue is a very dark blue. As I haven't seen the pink yet, I cannot comment on that. Although mine seems to have lasted longer than the advertised time, my papers and such are still very dry so I believe it is still working. If your item is defective, I would definitely get a replacement since I find this product to be a life saver (or a safe saver as it is, har har). Hope this helps.

Edit 10/2/2013: I came back to post a picture of the pink color beads. I glanced at other reviews trying to find mine, and I'm shaking my head that people think this is for a vehicle or will take the place of an exhaust fan in your bathroom. This is a passive device, despite having a plug. It's strength is really for small places that you open and find mold or for preserving items. Anyway, still going strong here. I'll post a picture of the beads.

This is simply the best item I have ever bought on Amazon. I have now used them for TWO years and heartily recommend them.

If you are on the fence as whether to order the EVA-DRY 500 or the smaller 300/333, do yourself a favor and order the 500 unless space is an issue. The 500 is fairly large but it has a more stable base (if you aren't hanging it) & requires less frequent recharging.

AT ANY RATE...
I live in a very moist area & mildew, etc, is a HUGE problem here. After 2 years of religious recharging when pink, Mr. Stinky has finally departed from my problem cabinets (previously, I had drilled holes in the backs to improve airflow and even wiped the inside of those WOOD cabinets with undiluted bleach in an attempt to kill the smell).

NOTE: I use more than one EVA DRY 500 per chest or cabinent.

I now buy & use them BEFORE a smell problem arises.

I also use them hanging w/in muslin garment bags (shearling & leather coats).

Perhaps those who have had a negative experience w/ EVA-DRY didn't give the product enough time; do not expect complete dryness & a fresh smell immediately after placement.

I recharge it on a power slip placed on my kitchen counter (ceramic tile) because of other reviewers comments about the difficulty of wall outlet recharging due to Eva-dry's weight & because it *does* heat up when being renewed.

My only complaint is that it has next to zero instructions about the hanger (e.g. hanger on 300 series goes in hole on back & the hanger on the 500 goes through the holes in the plug).

Wow, am I impressed. This item delivers. I had a small safe that was getting musty and all the documents felt soft and damp. I charged up the Eva-dry, stuck it in and BAM! (Emeril Style) The next day everything was dry and crisp. I recharged the unit over night and stuck it back in the safe. It couldn't be easier!

And those of you who read the other reviews and see people write things about not being able to tell if the crystals are blue or pink, IGNORE THEM. The people that wrote those are obviously dumb or blind. This product couldn't be easier to use. If all the crystals aren't the same color, then either plug it back into the wall, or keep letting it do it's thing. Enough said.

Bathroom with no extraction fan. It used to smell humidity all the time and I had to open a window to solve problem but we are going thru the polen season and my bathroom it gets all dirty so it was a big problem everyday i wanted to try this based on reviews.... I Love It. I Love It. I will buy 1 more for my basement and 2 for my bother's bathroom and his son's bedroom. Is affordable and it works.

When I opened the box I said, what is this? It has small blue balls inside and a small window to see them. When little balls turns pink you will need to plugging it in a outlet outside of your house to release all humidity. If you plug it inside your room all humidity will be released again in the room. I plugged in a outlet outside of my kitchen for 8-10 its.

Highly recommended!!! Ohh, in instructions says this will take 2-3 weeks for the tiny balls to turn pink... mine, it takes 4-7 days... :( my bathroom used to be humid

This is the third one I've purchased (two were already in use in two separate cases doing a fantastic job). With having to care for vintage costume jewelry, these units are perfectly sized to fit in my showcases and not be an eyesore. Usually requiring a recharge every 2-3 weeks, I purchased the third so I never have a minute without one protecting my collection. Definitely great value considering what silica packs cost every 3 months. Anyone with a prized collection (whether it be paper, guns, gems or art) should seriously consider purchasing this product for smaller storage areas (safes, cabinets, etc).

This is my 2nd Eva-dry Renewable Dehumidifier purchase. My other one is the 500 for a little larger room and that one worked so well, I decided to purchase one for a small "cellar" room in my basement that is constantly damp, smells bad and has mold growing on the walls. Its a very small room-4x6 at the most with no ventilation. I just put this one on the shelf and was truly AMAZED that after just a few days the room no longer smells and you can tell that the moisture level is down! I really like the fact that its renewable and all you have to to is plug it in to recharge it. Thumbs up!

The hubby got one of these devices to keep our safe dry, since we live in California, and we have quite a bit of moisture in the air here. Our bathroom is also connected to our room so we have extra moisture seeping into our safe. I have heard the horror stories of molded passports and wedding certificates, and I did not want to go through the same problems!

This dehumidifier works wonders, We have not had any issues with it, and it consistently turns pink every 3 weeks to let us know it is time to charge the device. If you do have more moisture in the air, the balls will turn color faster, as it is absorbing more moisture.

I think you could use this device in a larger space than a safe, but you would require more charges as the device will be working harder to get the moisture out of the air. For larger spaces, you can also use 2 devices or more if needed.

I bought this dehumidifier for a small bathroom in our home that must have been converted from a closet because there is no ventilation. We live in Louisiana and the bathroom door is near an outside door, so the room quickly gets muggy and always smelled musty. I was looking for an alternative to the cup of Damp Rid I was keeping behind the toilet (kind of yucky), and since there is only one outlet in the room I wanted something that didn't need electricity. This is perfect!

I have been using this product for several months now, and the bathroom stays dry. I like the hook, which allowed me to hang the unit behind the sink where it's easy to check. I plug it in every three weeks or so to renew it, which is much better than dumping the water out of the Damp Rid cup. I am now buying a couple more to use elsewhere in the house.

I am using the Eva-dry E-333 for 3 weeks in an air tight box of 25 lt. capacity to store my camera gear, to protect from heavy moisture content. Still the glass beads are blue, seems it is working cause the box is really moisture free and the silica gels placed in the box along with the Eva-Dry are still blue, so moisture is not present in the box, hopefully that's why the glass beads are still blue cause there is no moisture to soak after all. haa haa.....

This Dehumidifer is The handy`s thing I`ve ever see ..... I use the EDV-300 in a Fire Prof. Safe that I keep about $1000.00 worth of Gun Powder and Primers in . It works Very Well and keeps my powder And primers 100 % "DRY" ! It has a set of Blue BB`s incased in the front of it that tells you the unit is ready for use . It will last for about 2 weeks or so , then the BB`s in it will turn Pink and you can see a little mosture in the glass housing the BB`s , Which means the unit needs to be recharge , or dryed out . All you do is ..... Plug the unit into a wall outlet (110 Volt) for about 4 hours with the flop down and out plug on the back of the unit ..... When you see the BB`s Turn Blue again , un-plug the unit .... Flop the plug shut or Close on the back of the unit , And it`s ready to put back in My Powder Safe for about Two week`s . Does a VERY Good Job and O-Mosture in my Powder Safe ! ... this unit is Worth More than 5 *****`s .... It`s Worth 10*`s ... Wouldn`t Take Nothing For It .

Be Sure You Buy The Right Size EDV Unit For Your Size Safe and it Will keep the thing in Your Safe "DRY" ! I have a larger EDV Unit in a Gun safe that Works Just As Well .
