I have recently cut back my dairy intake (I know, I know, no one cares about my diet) and switched almost exclusively to coconut milk. I purchased this little frother because, quite frankly, I am inept at frothing coconut milk with the steam wand attached to my espresso machine. This is truly a tragedy as I very much enjoy a nice layer of foam in my homemade lattes. Coconut milk is harder to get foamy without scorching it (Scorched coconut milk is also a tragedy).
Or maybe I just wasn't cut out to be a world class barista...
Regardless.
I am happy to report that this little gadget froths coconut milk marvelously! I was incredibly pleased (and a bit suprised, truth be told) at how well it worked. It doesn't get quite as fluffy as regular milk, and it takes a bit longer, but it does indeed work.
While I bought this specifically for frothing milk, I have been equally pleased with the other uses for it that I have stumbled across. For instance;
-Chocolate milk. You know those nights you come home after a long day of work and all you want is a giant glass of creamy chocolate milk? But then when you go to make said chocolate milk you are met with a clumpy, gritty, dairy disaster where your talk glass of chocolate heaven should be? NO MORE, I SAY. This frother mixes chocolate milk better than anything I've ever seen. Perfectly blended deliciousness, like you deserve, you rock star you.
-Whipped cream. Some days (and by that I mean all days) I want a fluffy white dollop of heaven on my latte. And not that canned stuff that is like 3% actual cream, 84% oil, and 13% magic compressed air. OH NO. I want the real deal, fresh from the cow, 100% cream whipping cream (trust me, if you try it you will never go back).
BUT YOU JUST SAID YOU WERE CUTTING BACK DAIRY. Work in progress, okay? I'm still human.
Thanks to this little frother, I can whip (ahhaaa) up a single serving for myself in no time, whenever I want. It takes a little longer than regular milk, obviously, but it is worth it and cleanup is so much easier!
-Eggs. This thing produces the fluffiest and most magically airy omelets you have ever eaten. Just try it. Even a chicken would eat one of them, that's how good they are.
ALSO.
Some troubleshooting/tips if you are having issues...
-I have found that COLD coconut milk froths 1000x better/easier than room temp or hot. If you can't get it to get fluffy for you, try frothing it straight from the fridge.
- If it doesn't seem to be frothing well, make sure the shaft isn't bent. The metal rod is thin and easily warped if you aren't careful (like if you slam a drawer on it or your 2 year old mistakes it for her favorite hammer toy). I was getting frustrated with it one morning because it was not producing any froth and my coffee was getting cold (UNACCEPTABLE) when I noticed it was spinning a little off-kilter (that's Southern speak) because the rod was bent (I'm blaming the toddler, she has it out for me). A tiny adjustment to straighten it back up and it worked great.
I have attached some pictures of my glorious coconut milk froth. It is just your basic unsweetened Silk brand coconut milk.

I can't believe how well this works for the price I paid for it. I use it every day to mix my bulletproof coffee and it blends it perfectly with a nice foam on top. Before I got this I was using an immersion blender that plugged in - it worked, but was more trouble to clean and would cause spills if I wasn't careful.
I've had this for almost 2 months using daily (on the same set of batteries) and I can't see it showing any sign of slowing down. When I'm done I just stick it under the faucet for a few seconds and it's clean.
I've also used it making chocolate milk for the kids, mixing eggs before scrambling, and getting lumps out of gravies and sauces - worked great for all.

Premium Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder 4oz Thai - Starter Ceremonial Grade - Instant Shake & Go - 6x Antioxidants Times of Goji Berries - Fresh Tropical Green Easy to Dissolve Perfect Hot Matcha Tea I really love this frother and I was pleasantly surprised at just how well it works based on its price and size. It is inexpensive and as you can see from my video, it works well and fast. It arrived in perfect condition with no defects and it is all in one piece so there is no need to assemble it.
The body of the frother is well made and easy to grip even when my hands are wet. It is super easy to clean because once I am done I simply rinse it under hot water for a few seconds.
The motor is strong but it is not loud at all and it isn't jarring. It is very smooth and easy to use by simply placing it into the milk and letting it do its job. Overall, I am very pleased and hope to get years of use out of this. I give this frother a five-star rating based on price, quality, construction and ease of use.

I was amazed at how well this worked. After putting in 2 AA batteries (you must supply). You just turn it on and put in the cream or milk. Depending on how much you are frothing this will normally complete the process in way under a minute. You will also end up using less milk as it will produce that wonderful foam. This is was better than microwaving your milk or cream. It is like getting your coffee at the local coffee shop. You also may want to try it out with Matcha Green Tea Powder 4oz - Organic Strong Milky Taste USDA Certified - 137x Antioxidants Over Brewed Green Tea - Great for Latte, Smoothie, Ice Cream and Baking & Alternative Coffee Substitute. I would definitely recommend.

This is a fun, powerful little device! I am really impressed with it. This will include a short video just to show you the size and power. I did not fully froth the milk for the sake of the size of the video, but this thing works! I think you could use if to turn egg whites in to meringue, too. I might just try that next!
I am pretty excited about enjoying lattes and cappuccinos with frothed milk right in my own home. I don't know if the price will stay this low since prices often change, but what a great deal this is! I don't think you will be disappointed and since the mechanism basically just spins, I am hopeful this is functionally simple enough to last a long time. The size is perfect and will fit in any mug or glass easily. Save some money and skip the higher priced gadgets since this one will do the job easily.

I like to drink a cup of instance coffee with milk everyday and I would like to have a nice layer of thick milk foam on the top. This frother is really nice in creating this layer. So I am using it everyday now. It is really quick. I believe it takes me like 20 seconds to prepare my cup. It is also easy to clean and operate. I would like if the rotating beam is a little bit taller because I am using a tall mug sometimes. But, this product is working just fine for me.
⦿ Grip. This frother has a large and very appropriate plastic grip with a rubbery coating. I feel like it is bigger than it looks in the pictures.
⦿ Motor. The motor is really quite and does not make a lot of noise. The rotating speed is also suitable for the milk frothing. I do not have a frothing pitcher, so I do this in a tall mug I have. You can imagine that when the milk start rotating in the cup, its level will be raised up to the tip of the mug, and this depends on the rotating speed. So, I only fill half the mug.
⦿ Cleaning. The material is easy to clean. After using this frother I only wash the rotating beam with water. However, I am not sure whether this frother is water resistance or not, so I only wash the metal part and not the grip so that water does not reach the motor inside.
Overall, I am satisfied with this product. It works great and fulfills its purpose. It would be nice if it comes with rechargeable battery, but looks like it does not consume much of battery power. I used a pair of batteries that I bought from Dollar Tree for $1 and I have been using it for like three weeks once or twice a day.

A fun way to reduce your calorie intake, since I now use only 1/4 of cup by frothing the milk on my latte or capuccino:p
All it takes are two AAbatteries and one minute, no special devices or high pressure expresso make ( note that I have my expresso machine, but prefer the easier, fast and safe little electric frother)
I am starting to watch some internet videos and learning how to make frothed mik art, and building basic shapes like hearts, my little magic wand that helps bringing microbubbles and enjoy my capuccino every morning!

We have an espresso machine that is about 4-5 years old. We use it every weekend for cappuccini and the wand finally gave up. It will produce steam but before the milk is textured, it would reach a boiling point and then we would be stuck with huge soapy bubbles and you had to wait 15 minutes before it would not melt your lips right off of your face. I'm not ready to give up on my espresso maker because it still produces great espresso with beautiful crema (not to mention the $$ you would have to spend on a new one). Then behold, the MatchaDNA Milk Frother! I use the steam wand to warm up the milk and then froth away. I use about 1/3 of the milk required by my steam wand to produce less results when the machine was new. You can go from soft textured milk to stiff peaks in seconds producing tight, silky bubbles that won't collapse in your espresso. They coat the edges of the cup so that by the time you reach the bottom, you still have a nice little blanket of bubbles all around the edge of the cup. A wonderful fix for under $10.

I did not purchase the black MatchaDNA milk frother for matcha tea. I purchased it because when I tried to mix hot cocoa it never mixed properly. This does not come with 2 AA batteries. The box says 2 AAA batteries and that is incorrect. You need AA batteries. You turn it on, put it in the liquid you want to froth or mix and wallah it mixes. I love it. The mixer part is small, about one inch across. My hand held manual mixer is much larger, but never mixed everything so I guess it doesn't really matter what size this one is. This packs quite a lot of power. The mixer does not remove from the battery housing. I cleaned it with a cloth.

I've had all kinds of "special" moments with this device, starting before I even received it. I was expecting this thing to be the size of one of those handheld blenders; nope, hence the reason for the picture with the pen, in case anyone else is having a "moment", there's a frame of reference. The device is actually small, as you can see from the picture.
The second, doh', moment was with the batteries. I was so irritated that I had to unscrew the battery cover, I was working myself into a tizzy about how much I hate when companies screw downs the battery cover and what a pain in the hinny it is, I get the screws out and open the cover...apparently they heard me, because this isn't where the batteries go. Nope, it's a nice easy slide back switch at the bottom of the device. o_O
My third, I hope nobody is looking moment, came with using the device for the first time. Yeah...Okay, so, you don't turn on the device, then put it in the milk. Nope, nada, no bueno! After I cleaned the milk off my face, yes face, this thing has some power, I went ahead and tried it a second time, starting with the frother in the milk, and it worked amazingly!
As I said previously, this little device has some power. The milk froths up within seconds. Overall, after the initial woes, I am very happy with the device, and I have a funny story to share.
