Not flimsy or cheaply made.
Used for extending phone/lamp power blocks that cover multiple outlets on the battery backup.
Will buy again, have found so many uses where buying a 6 foot extension seemed like a waste when just another foot was needed.

These were purchased to be able to add power brick (Wall wort) devices to a battery backup (UPS). Due to the large size of the bricks they cover other outlets. I was able to use all of the outlets available to me and use the power bricks without issue. The build quality is good and item comes as described. Some cheaper units I have used, the female receptacle is loose. On this unit it is snug and I do not have a problem with my peripherals falling out. The male end of the plug does come with a protective cap.

I figured I needed a few of these, so bought the 10 pack. Gave a few to my friend, and all of sudden realize how handy these are, so have already used up the rest! Very good quality, does the job. Is especially handy when connecting stuff to 3 way splitters and power backup units and smart power strips where I have a lot of attached power supplies that take up a lot of room. These are much less expensive than using those octopus cables, and are short enough that they don't make a mess. Highly recommend them.

Product is exactly as described. It has allowed me to reclaim my power strip/surge protectors. Just enough length to spread out all the electronics so that I can plug in more than 3 devices on one power strip. Best bang for the buck.

A couple of kitchen appliances that we use occasionally have cords that are a few inches too short to reach the outlet from a convenient spot. These were cheap enough and short enough to just leave connected to the appliances. I've also used these cords to help attach large power supply blocks from a router and printer to a power strip with limited space between plugs. Not absolutely necessary, but these are one of those items that make life easier. These appear to be well made, fairly thick, and should last. The attached label states the wiring is 16AWG, UL listed, and rated for 125V and 13 amps, a typical rating for standard duty extension cords.

If you need more space on your power strip because of those bulky power supply plugins then this is what you want. They seem like high quality cords and do the trick.
I have also used them for attaching christmas light timers to outdoor electrical boxes. The flat plug timers would not connect to the outlet inside the box, but after attaching one of these it's no problem to connect them.
It's nice that it's a 10 Pack, because you never know when you'll need one of these. You could always use an extension cord, but it's not as nice as using one of these short cables.

Gave me back all the outlets on my power strip. Now I can plug six devices into a power strip. Odd shapes and bulky plugs are not a challenge any more!

Why not just buy a 3-4 foot extension at a big box store so that it will be more useful over it's lifetime? The answer is that these cords solve the problem of big block plugs. It seems like every time I use a power strip, at least one of the plugs will want to block off 3 different outlets because of it's size. Come these short extensions and the problem is solved. It will make tight, cramped power strips infinitely more useful. Further, you can still join these together if necessary to use them as "cut to length" extensions, although this is less cost effective. These are also UL certified, so you know they've been reviewed for safety.
Nutshell: I'd challenge anyone who uses power strips to try these out - you simply will not be disappointed.

These are great little extension cords for surge protectors and the like. The box/packaging I received was of much higher quality than I was expecting. You can look at the photos for that. The cables themselves are thick gauge wire and come with a sort of plastic cap on the end of the prongs which is very nice as well. I'm quite pleased with them and will get more as I need them. I've had zero issues with them in my short ownership of them. I'll certainly purchase more if or when I need them.

So after seven months in use, I have purchased another set over the holidays since they were on sale for a short period. The original set has worked flawlessly. Something I should add is that I don't use these cables to power anything that require a huge amount of wattage or amps, though they are rated for 125V (Volts) / 13A (Amps). They are made from 16 gauge wire and are UL-certified. The listing numbers as show on the affixed label are:

File Number: E88446 (This is not an accidental relist by me, just what is printed on the label)
I highly recommend these cables and if there is any change in the functionality or any issues arise, I'll be sure to update this so other consumers can make a more informed decision.
