This PureGreen filter fit my fridge perfectly it is as good as the original name brand one. I cannot tell the difference in the taste. The water is "Clean and fresh tasting”. Easy fast installation. This three pack of filters are definitely worth the purchase price which is far less than the name brand ones that it is replacing. I have ended up using water filters long after they should have been replaced due to the cost of replacing them. I am glad that some companies are producing good quality replacement items that are the same as the name brands but much more affordable. Thank you PureGreen for being one of those. Your water filters are almost identical to the expensive ones that they are replacing and they work just as well. I have bought a few replacement water filters now that are not from the original company and found that I do not have to pay top dollar to get a good product. This filter was as easy to install as the original was and should last just as long.

Went in flawlessly. Just observed how the OEM product came out, and it twisted right on. Ran a couple glasses of water through, and did not observe any residue, as other reviewers indicated. Tastes fine. Product was 3 for less than cost of ONE of the OEM products.

I needed a filter for my new frig. I priced one at Lowes, $49 for one. Found these at Amazon from the "Pure Green" water filter company. You get three for $41.00 and free shipping. Just as good as GE, but cheaper. It's a no brainer!

No significant difference in these filters to those that are labeled "as if" made by GE. Observe rotational position of connector on old filter as it is removed. Match that position when inserting new filter.

I purged water dispenser after installation, draining 6l into a clean pitcher. I could see no carbon powder as I have in past with GE filters. Crystal clarity. No aftertaste.

This is good time to empty and clean ice maker bucket (dispenser) as well. Also wipe inside of chute (the path ice travels to your
glass with a clean damp white soft cloth. If you see any mold on the cloth, disassemble and clean thoroughly. You should be able to find many YouTube vids on how to do that on your model.

For the price of a manufacturer filter I now have three quality filters that are a perfect fit and functioning great. Pure Green has helped to break the over priced hold that the big corporate culture had on the consumer.

Switched from the very expensive GE brand filter to this not expensive PureGreen filter. At first, I didn't want to do the total flush of water through the filter (several minutes of standing there getting water at the fridge), and probably should have followed the directions -- not doing so may have caused an initial odd taste to the water. But, after a little more use of the filter the odd taste went away and it tastes just the same as before. I don't recall having to do such a long flush with the GE filters. (For scientific types: I'm not sure if the taste normalizing is due to changes in the water itself, or merely a perception adjustment in my brain.) All in all, I'm very pleased with the filter (I am trusting it filters what it's supposed to, because I'm only judging on taste and usability), and looking forward to ordering it again when I need new filters. Next time, I'll do the recommended flush and save the water for the plants!

Sure I was a bit worried getting a filter that was compatible. With a great price and package of three! I was willing to take a chance. So glad I did. I waited a while to review, to make sure it continued to function well. No problem.

Fit fine, worked from the start with none of the cloudy/milky behavior that others noted.

And the price is reasonable; not being gouged for an OEM filter will allow us to change the filter more often.

I was delighted to find out that these filters remove choline from the water. I make water kefir and they die if there is any chlorine. I tested the water with a chlorine strip and none was indicated. Love it. Now I don't have buy bottle water anymore, saving me money. These filters are also reasonable. Skeptical at first, because of the great price. No regrets at all. I get more than twice the water flow through these. I got three for the price of one genuine GE filter. Very pleased. JFL followed up with an email wondering if I was pleased with the product. Great customer service.
