This diffuser is a beast. I purchased 3 different diffusers at one time. This one produces a much stronger mist. Holds much more water. After 5hours, the oils have not lost their scent. I purchased another one for the office. I did NOT receive this product in exchange for a review. I review 90% of the products I purchase online.

Unreserved 5 stars... in fact, I will go one better and declare a personal top favorite out of the literal dozens and dozens ultrasonic diffusers I have owned and evaluated, even a notch over a similarly priced Ivation with a bamboo exterior (and I am very fond of bamboo accents). Why? I go through it all in my video, as well as demonstrating use (so you will know how to work it without relying on the somewhat simplistic instructions), but to highlight:
1) MASSIVE Water Well - 500ml is upwards 5x the size of the typical ultrasonic diffuser. Even the similarly priced Ivation I mentioned is only about 130ml.
2) A subtle thing, but one I never seen before - the interior sub-lid pops out so you can clean it and the outer lid. This sort of thing is normally molded as part of the external lid. Not really sure if it is an advantage over a single molded piece, but it is just one of the unique aspects to this model.
3) Clearly marked water lines. And a great many, the majority of ultrasonic diffusers either don't have any markings or they are opaquely molded into the opaque interior... making them really hard to see. Also clearly marks the drain side, avoiding getting water into the Air Intake on the opposite side.
4) As super simple of a cover lid as you can possibly get. Just slip it on. The misting mouth can face any direction you please.
5) The lighting function has one of those unique aspects. First press turns the color cycling on, and the second press keeps the color at whatever it was on. That is completely different from any other. It is the third press and onwards that begins the standard light color queue that you see in every single other diffuser with mood coloring. Long press the Light button to turn off the lighting, but does not affect misting
6) 60, 120, 180, and Continuous modes for misting. Long press the Mist button to turn off the whole unit, including Lighting.
7) High and "Low" mist modes as a separate button. I have Low in quotes because even at low, it is still stronger than most misting from your typical $25-$30 range of diffusers. On high, running 60 minutes, and placed in an adjoining bathroom with the door open, my entire living room smelled of the Thieves Oil I put into it. So yes, this is suitable for actual humidity increase, as well as moderate sized room scenting.
8) The Lighting level itself is quite suitable for strong night lighting. With all the lights off in my bathroom, I can still clearly see my way about.
9) When set to a Time Limit, it does turn off the entire unit, including the light, and also when the water level gets too low.
10) There is probably some gurgling when the water level gets particularly low (I assume this judging from the strength of the piezo-electric that needs to be had in order to shift the volume of water), but anywhere from 300 to 500ml, zero sound or even low level mist hissing.
11) And a final personal note from me, you do want to regularly clean any ultrasonic diffuser - considering the sizing capacity of this, I'd say every time you fill it, first run warm water into it, drain, then dry clean with a paper towel, removing any oil build-up/residue. If more in depth cleaning is desired, like the piezo-electric itself, warm water and some citric acid, letting it steep for 20 minutes, drain and once again dry clean. Do not use abrasive cleaners as they can damage the piezo.
In sum, out of all the ultrasonic mist diffusers I both use and have passed on to family (I am a fervent advocate of aromatherapy), this is a superlative large model, and an outstanding bathroom choice - just be aware it is rather comparatively large, but sits fine on a standard sized toilet tank lid.
The ONLY thing I could wish for was a wood grain exterior. :)

I have a few different models of these oil diffusers and I can safely say I use them every single day and have been using them for months. For me they are not one of those items I loved at first and quickly got tired of and stuffed back into the box. These are low maintenance, easy to use and require very little care. This one works the same as my smaller ones but has a much larger size and water capacity. This one holds 500 ml of water and will last for 10 hours. One thing I really appreciate on this model is you can set a time limit for 60, 120, 180 (mins) or continuous. You also choose whether to have the light on (it shifts from one color to another and provides a really nice soothing color show in a dark room.) If you press the "light" button again it shifts between all the color choices and you keep pressing to set it on a specific color. Eventually you get to no lights at all, which is preferable for sleeping. There is also a "high/low" button for mist output. It says to put up to 3 drops of essential oil per 100 ml, so you can put up to 15 drops in here, but I'd start with less because from my experience most of the oil is dispersed in the first 30-60 mins. Also I prefer to use distilled water to keep hard water from leaving deposits in the water reservoir. This isn't necessary but I prefer to do it. This larger diffuser will scent and help humidify a large room. Just to give you an idea of the size, it could be compared to the size of a large tub of Cool Whip. If you are looking for a larger essential oil diffuser this one is really nice. I'm extremely happy I got it!

This little diffuser really packs a punch! I put 3 drops of oil in and started it up and the whole house filled up with scent (My condo is about 950sq feet)! It was wonderful. It puts out a decent amount of mist on high and that's usually where I keep the setting. It's very dry here in Alaska and we need all the help we can get! I also like the fact that the light can be toggled on and off and that you can pick your color or just let it rotate through all the colors. Very soothing. The water capacity container is on the larger size which means that you will be able to leave it on for quite a while. Like I said, I keep it on high and can still get slightly over 10 hours of diffusing. I'm thinking if you keep it on low, you make get a lot more than that. This diffuser also has timer settings if you don't want it on all the time. You can choose from 60, 120, 180 or put it on continuous mode. Whatever mode it's on, if you run out of water it will automatically shut off. Overall, I find this a very lovely little diffuser and would highly recommend it for someone who wants to diffuse a larger room.

This is a purchase I am extremely happy with - I read a lot of the reviews, and many people stated they were given this item for an honest review - I purchased the item, but will still give an honest review. The price is fair; the diffuser really is a good one - it does everything you need it to do, and then some. It lasts forever it seems if you turn it just to "on" - I've tried the timer settings, and they work very well. And, the colors are really pretty - sometimes I use them, sometimes not - it helps me remember it's on, as it's very quiet. Not sure how long it will last if I just keep it on, but will try that soon. The shipment arrived on time, even though they sent me a note that it would be 1-2 days late. If you are looking for a diffuser, you can't go wrong with this one, and you can't go wrong with the seller! Thanks!

I did a LOT of research before buying a diffuser. I was initially very happy with every aspect of this diffuser, it exceeded my expectations! The first floor of my home is pretty open and around 900sq ft. I could smell my essential oils that were being diffused in every room. It was great! My daughter loved the colors and we would put it in her room every night. I love that you can turn on the lighting function even when you're not diffusing. It would diffuse on the low setting for 9-10 hours without refilling! I cleaned the unit daily according to the instructions. After 2 months it shut off in the middle of the night and that was it. It doesn't beep, it does absolutely nothing. It's been too long to return. I've tried absolutely everything with no luck. I lost the user manual so I have no way to contact the company. I've searched online and cannot find a company website or anything with their info. I'm so disappointed. I loved this diffuser, but certainly expected more than 2 months worth of use! If I am able to find contact info for the company and can get a replacement, I will happily update this review to 5 stars. I guess time will tell. Buyer beware.

After posting this review the seller reached out to me via email. I was very happy to see that not only do they pay attention and read their customers reviews, but also that when they see a problem they address it. They asked for my order number and with no questions asked they immediately sent me a replacement diffuser. I did not have to return the broken one, which was great because I had already gotten rid of it. The new diffuser arrived within about a week and so far it has been working great. After the first one stopped working I bought a different one because I absolutely loved diffusing essential oils. The other one I bought is nicer appearance wise (it is wood and glass and just looks better in my opinion) but it is much louder than this one. This diffuser is so quiet you wouldn't know it was on if you didn't see the mist coming out. My daughter has been keeping this one in her bedroom at night and I LOVE that I can turn on the lights without running the diffuser. She loves the way the light colors fade in and out and they seamlessly flow from one color to the next. It's very relaxing to her. If she's sick or having problems sleeping I can diffuse essential oils, but most nights it's used as a nightlight. One MAJOR benefit of this diffuser is its 500 ml water capacity. Most diffusers I've seen have around 100 ml water capacity. This diffuser truly can double as a humidifier. Before I bought this diffuser, I tried putting essential oils in our humidifier when someone was sick. That backfired when the oils started to literally eat through the walls of the humidifier. I definitely don't recommend doing that unless your humidifier specifically states essential oils are safe to use with it.
I applaud this company for their incredible customer service. I plan to look at other products they sell because I feel this is a very trustworthy company and they stand behind their products. I didn't have to answer a million questions, or send in my broken diffuser to be repaired. They simply confirmed my address and sent me a brand new, perfectly working diffuser. I had always wanted a diffuser. This one is PERFECT. I have to say that I'm in LOVE. It's good to read over the instructions (just in case). But basically use the provided cup to fill with water, add a few drops of oil, put the top back on and it's ready. There are 7 colors and they are awesome, OR you can use it without color. Each color has a brighter setting and then a dimmer setting, the colors are White, Red, Green and Blue (my personal fav). There is an easy button that you hold down to get the mist going. I added lavender. I love how I could "smell" the lavender but it wasn't so strong. I really started feeling relaxed after I started it. The mist is so light... just like a light cloud. I can even really describe my happiness with this item. I love the colors (so do my children). I rate this as the best item I've tried. I can't imagine being without it now.

Love this little bugger, does indeed humidify a small room 10x10 max and smells from oils work and are great. The lights are cool there is multi and two levels of every color. The humidifier has low and high through a button and the light doesn't need to be on to humidify. Great product

This is by far , the best diffuser I have ever bought. It has buttons so you can choose how long it runs. Also a button to switch the lights on , off, or to just one color or three. I love that I can have it run all night or day and it switches off automatically. The only thing I don't like about this diffuser is that you must clean it quit often, which is not a deal breaker for me. A little white vinegar sets for 5 or 10 minutes and you are good to go. I would definitely repurchase.

I'm obsessed with this oil diffuser. My house has never smelled better, and this is really nice to look at. It has different settings...the mist can be set to high or low, and the timer can be set for 60 minutes, 120 minutes or 180 minutes. The color can also be changed..it has 7 colors in a high and low intensity, meaning there are 14 color choices, or you can choose to have it change between all colors, or no light at all.
I can't really say with certainty if this has had any positive, or negative effect on allergens in the house, but I know mine, and my daughters lips haven't chapped yet, which is normally already occuring this time of year. I like to think it has something to do with this. Either way though, this is a great little device. It adds color and light and beautiful aromas to the house. I would definitely recommend this. Just as a customer-caution, remember this doesn't come with oils so you would have to make an additional purchase. I think it's worth it though :)
