It's an electric tea kettle. Perhaps not the best looking or the highest quality but it boils water quickly. This purchase replaced another of the same model we had used for 10 years. The plastic of the old started to look a bit dirty from minerals in the local water which was the reason to replace it but the old was still boiling water as if it was day one. I have no issues with this product.

This is nice. There is no plastic taste, as long as you do as directed and throw out the first two pots of boiled water. Boils a liter of water in about 2 minutes. I like that it shuts off a few seconds after the water starts boiling.

I have used this kettle for going on two years now and it holds up very well. In my experience the water is not altered in taste in any noticeable way as few have stated, and that's coming from a guy who has a keen sense of taste. It heats up water really fast and shuts off automatically as long as you have the water level at or past the minimum. With use of common sense and general safety precautions this product performs wonderfully and has never given me any problems otherwise. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for an electric kettle

A piece of advice: When I first got this I had read reviews of a plasticky taste of the boiled water. Personally I never had this issue, but I still took the precaution of rinsing the kettle out with water and then boiling a full batch of water multiple times (e.g 10 times was what I did), with new water in the kettle each time. I did this to break in the kettle and with hopes to avoid the issues that others noted with the plastic tasting water. Fortunately I did not have that Issue and the kettle does good work as it was advertised to do.

We use this for our sons formula. We boil the whole pitcher and then we can heat up each individual bottle of water in the microwave for the perfect temperature. This has traveled with us everywhere we go with the baby and so we never have to worry - hotel or a stay at grandmas, we got our clean water for his formula.

The switch automatically turns off when the water is boiled so we can set it up and go to bed and have no fear. We have been using it for over a month so far with zero issues.

Love this so much I keep giving them as gifts. People come to my home and fall in love with the look and convenience. I am not concerned when my daughter reach to turn it on because the cover is tight and snug. The plug is tight and does not separate from container. This is my 3rd one because when I move I leave them for my roommate as a parting "gift".

Excellent electric teapot. Boils water quickly. Very easy cleanup. Quick delivery. I would buy again. That is what I wrote over a year ago when I purchased my first one. I just wanted to update and tell you, I have purchased a second kettle and not because of any problems with the first. On the contrary, I bought a second one because I love it. This is so awesome and boils water so quickly and believe it or not, sometimes to save time when wanting additional thermos to go. Still 5 Stars.

We've used this in our RV for more than a year now and wouldn't roll without it. It's lightweight but heats quickly and then shuts off without an annoying whistle. The cord detaches and fits inside, and its slim design means the kettle stores easily in a drawer while traveling. One of our must haves. Recommended.
