These are great bags. Yes, the box is redesigned. Yes, the bags are slightly redesigned. Same performance. They may be expensive, but half the reason I have a Miele is for the filtration and bagging system. If you are simply restocking, these are the same as the "other" GN airclean bags, just a bit redesigned. They work just the same.

I just changed out my first Miele bag today. I noticed the vacuum suction had diminished over the past 2 days, but the power was still adequate for routine cleaning, so I continued as usual.
Because I wasn't familiar with the warning lights, I apparently left the bag in too long, and the Miele suddenly shut itself off. The bag was stuffed so full of dust and carpet fibers that some of the debris was extending into the vacuum tubing! It was a relief to see that the bag was intact despite being stretched tight. It was very easy to remove, even though it was overstuffed.
When I turned the vacuum on again, the usual strong suction kicked right in. I will be much more careful about watching for the warning light in the future. In the meantime, it is wonderful to see that the high-quality Miele products can accommodate non-expert handling without breaking.

I like others, find myself vacuuming...A LOT! With this in mind, I treated myself to a souped up Miele vacuum which required equally souped up vacuum bags. Although these suckers are not cheap, they are worth it. I have two kids, two dogs, and two cats which results in a lot of dirt, hair and stink that needs to be handled around my house. These vacuum bags have handled all of that quite well. They have never burst open, they limit the horrid odor that sometimes occurs upon first turning my vacuum cleaner on (something I always believed was an oman to stop) and apparently the design of these bags limits the amount of dust, dander and other airborne allergens that re-enter the air during the vacuuming process. All of that being said, cough up the extra few dollars for these bags and you won’t be disappointed.

Have ordered multiple times for my Miele Capricorn, which is getting older. The bags securely pick up pick up pet hair and people hair and keep it locked well inside the bag. As always, just a snap to put in and take out with no dirt escaping. We probably change every other month due to pets, but I like the fact that nothing is flying around in the air while cleaning and putting the dirt right back where it started.

The bags hold incredible amount of dirt & spiderwebs and sadly even many live spiders - who can't escape back because there is a great lid over the bag hole that prevents it from spilling, crawling out.
I had to put the vacuum into real test because I am the house has been kept unmaintained for years (hence the spiders - literally hundreds of them - normally I release them outside but at this amount it is impossible). The bag is holding out great.
I have vacuumed so much dirt with it and it is still not full. The other good perk is that the fact that the bag is getting fuller doesn't decrease the suction ability (which happened with previous vacuum quite often).

The bags are expensive but the reason for the purchase of my Miele is to reduce indoor allergens. The bag (and the HEPA filter[not included]) play an important role. There are other cheaper bags out there, but they don't have the same performance characteristics of genuine Miele bags. They hold quite a bit so the consolation of an expensive bag is that they do not need to be replaced as often.

I agree with buying the RIGHT product, not always buying the CHEAPEST. Reading some of the reviews of the cheaper Miele refill bags, I realized I should share an amazing produce that has saved me a LOT of money:
If you SWEEP before you vacuum on hard surfaces, you will save TONS of space in the vacuum bag.
Yea, it’s a little extra work. But my husband and I received a Miele from our registry two years ago and we JUST replaced the original bag it came with- and it was STUFFED to the gills. So basically, I’m saying that each bag is gonna last me 2 years... that’s a LONG time before I’ll have to buy another box of filters or bags!

This is the easiest and most economical way to order replacement bags for my Miele vacuum. These are the real thing, not knock-offs,
and come with an air filter to boot. I go through quite a few of these, almost one every 8 weeks, so I need a supply on hand. Locally, only a few stores carry them, but this saves me a 20 mile drive. Good price and quick shipment.

Always buy Miele bags! I made the mistake of buying "knock off" bags once to save some money. Never again! These bags fit perfectly into my Miele machine and keep all the dust, dirt, and whatever it sucks up safely inside the bag. The inside of my vacuum is always nice and clean because the bags work as they should. The cheap knock off bag leaked all the dust and dirt and whatever into my machine. It was a mess that took forever to clean. These bags are expensive yes, but worth the price.

These are the bags manufactured to be used with the Miele vacuums and has a flap that prevents dust and debris from escaping when you are emptying the vacuum of dust. I am through with the "bagless" vacs and much prefer the Miele with bags that you discard. If you invest in the Miele vacuum which is a major investment, you really need to use these bags to enable your vacuum to do what the German engineers intended it to do for at least 20 years.
