The water tastes very crisp and I am satisfied with this filter. I was a little shocked at the price since its the first time i had to buy one for my new refrigerator, but its the best price I could find.

This product is a necessity for anyone with a GE fridge that takes this particular filter model. At first, I was concerned with the price being a bit on the high side, but then I want to ensure the water I'm drinking is as pure as it can be. For piece of mind, I am fine replacing this every 5-6 months and knowing that the water will be crystal clear. Installation is a snap and I have had zero issues with leakage that others have reported in their reviews. All in all, this product is solid.

This works as expected for RPWF models only (do not buy for RPWFE), but it costs far more than it should in comparison with generic models. I will continue to buy this product so I am likely part of the problem as to why they continue to keep the cost so high. I always say If you want something that is going to always work and not risk leaks then go with the real deal from GE. Otherwise you could always go for a cheaper off brand version

Not much to say, this is the OEM replacement for our GE refrigerator, it works as expected and came nicely packaged. Looked all over the place to find these things cheaper but at the end of the day if you want the OEM version Amazon had the best price. I looked at some of the generics to save a few bucks, however decided the price difference and risk of leaks was not worth it for me.

My current new refrigerator requires the RPWF filter but this newer RPWFE filter fits the quick disconnect just fine and it does say on the box it's interchangeable. The only difference I noticed is some kind of sensor on the back side of the filter I assume for other types of refrigerators. Fit in just fine, no leaks and good for another 6 months.

If you have the new GE fridges, and I mean like bought in 2015, ONLY the authentic GE filters fit, apparently GE figured out how to make the generic ones not work, we bought the WaterSentinel and it did not work and we kept getting an error message, bought this and it works fine, this was the best price I could find and I shopped around

This is exactly what I needed for my fridge. The price was much less than if I had ordered it through the manufacturer. The product came with some instructions which made it clear how to remove the old one and install the new. Much clearer than in the operating manual for the Fridge.

Last week the water filter replacement light went on, on my GE refrigerator. I went from store to store looking for replacement filters. I was unable to find anything. I decided it was time to scour the internet. I found this filter for $50. At first i was unhappy, until i tried a non manufacture knock off. Fail. I found it best to just to it right. I wen ahead and made the order. The item showed up on my doorstep in the typical brown Amazon box within forty eight hours, which is fantastic. I opened it up and immediately found it was the same quality GE product. I went ahead and unwrapped it, and swapped it for the one inside the refrigerator. Now the replace filter light is off, and once again i have super pure water. The only difference between this filter and the cheap filter is what you pay for in the name brand. I agree--you get what you pay for. I would highly recommend this to anyone needing to replace a refrigerator water filter, skip the fake knock offs, buy the real thing the first and only time.

I needed a replacement cartridge and through Amazon this was a perfect selection. Prime members receive product in two days, prices are very reasonable and it was easy to install. I now have fresh drinking water without compromising the quality of my product replacement.

I believe I may have given an unfair 2 STAR review previously. I gave that rating due to the fact I found a "similar" filter elsewhere. I was contacted by the a rep from this company and gave me a wonderful follow up call regarding my review. I did not do business with them this time but I will the next time I need a filter cartridge as I respect their work ethics and values.
