Small and does not take up a lot of room. It is an alarm clock as well as a thermometer weather station. It solved my problem of convincing my husband that the temperature in the side rooms is not what the thermostat says it is in the great room. This will save me money on my next electric bill as the thermostat is being changed at night according to what is on this unit

I'm a weather forecaster by profession. I brought this monitor to work to test it against our airfield weather sensor. This little guy is reporting values +/- 1% of the equipment I use for work. The test was done at 70°F and about 52% humidity. I plan on using this indoors so I will not be testing it for consistency in extreme temperatures/humidity values. As for the "weather forecast" feature on the device: It's a joke. Most households contain smartphones, computers and cable television for weather info. No logical person is going to rely on a $10 piece of equipment to forecast weather anyways. 5 stars for an accurate in-home relative humidity sensor!
